An amazing little shop in Los Ranchos that carries a wide variety of different flavors of biscochitos and everything is made in house.
After all the hype I have heard of this bakery I was extremely disappointed. It is boutique style, which means higher prices. The biscochitos are actually fluffy despite being thin, but didn't have that classic New Mexican taste, or any taste really. They offered multiple flavors -like red chile or lemon- which were even underwhelming. All of the ladies in the shop were super helpful and friendly.
I don’t understand why there are bad reviews on this awesome place! They are the BEST in town! I recommend to everyone! And the people there a wonderful as well!
The best we have ever had! So light! They melt in your mouth! We will be using them for Christmas Gifting this year.
Where to start? The flavor, the originality steeped in Nuevo Mexico Tradition. These biscochitos take me back to a time when life was simple; I just a young girl then helping my Nana in the kitchen at Christmas time with all my tia's making Biscochitos: that was our tradition! Eating your Biscochitos just recently for the first time Celina has warmed my heart and awakened my pallet. The green Chile pecan is my favorite, the red gives just the right spice, the lemon seems to have zest baked right in and the wedding cookies make me want to get married all over again! One word describes it all AMAZING!!!!! asi es Nuevo Mexico!!!! Que Viva Nuevo Mexico! Que Viva Celina's Biscochitos! Que Viva Tradicion!
